GET THE NAME RIGHT, HOE

Facebook found themselves in trouble with its users after visitors to a popular seaside landmark in Plymouth, England after their posts were removed because the name of the location was confused for a misogynistic term. I REALLY don’t get what’s the big deal because this is typical old fashion Facebook, I mean what is the purpose of Facebook just fuck up things.

So Members of a Facebook group based in Plymouth, England said the post was mentioned to be Plymouth Hoe was pulled down of the social media site after some users found their accounts temporarily suspended due to breaking their lame community guidelines and declared that offensive language was used. Like I’m sorry to the many people that this happened to but all I have to say is that it wouldn’t have happened if y’all used snapchat.

The name of the landmark comes from the Anglo-Saxon word “hoe” which is used to describe a sloping (NOT Slurpee) ridge shaped inverted foot and heel. This sparked a lot of outrage as people were confused why Facebook an international social media company with its users situated all over the world cannot know about a tourist attraction site in England. Like y’all don’t have users down there or wassup? So accounts were closed due to offensive speech and the posts were immediately removed.

Facebook apologized to the affected people telling them they never heard of a place by that name but y’all shouldn’t get mad at Facebook, blame the person that brought the dumbass community guidelines that came to make social media boring again. How I miss the good old days where you’d post all manner of staff and later come to haunt you (Jokes y’all should use social media in a responsible way. If you say fucked up staff trust me in future you’ll look dumb). And the sad thing is that you’ll continue seeing such staff for a while and this time not only in Facebook but all the social networks that are affiliated to Facebook. An example of an "Assholic"(not a real word) thing they have done is the new privacy terms that will see a lot of information being easily be seen by anyone which is not the smartest thing they’ve done and has led to a lot of people leaving WhatsApp for better and more secure social media apps.

WHAT DO Y’ALL THINK ABOUT THAT STORY?
